A Wigan pub threw its doors open on Friday 29th September to showcase the pub’s new carvery offering.
The popular Greene King pub, the Red Robin, on Anjou Boulevard has received a six-figure refurbishment, providing guests with an improved food offering including the introduction of a mouth-watering carvery.
The new carvery will be served fresh every day, and will feature a minimum of three meats that have been slow cooked for up to 14 hours, and eight seasonal vegetables. A new menu has also been introduced, which is full of pub classics, such as hand-battered cod and chips, British beef and ale pie, and 28-day aged steaks served fresh from the grill.
Alongside the improved food offering, the Red Robin has also been revamped throughout. The new-look pub, which also features a Wacky Warehouse, will maintain its traditional features and comfortable, homely atmosphere, and visitors will also benefit from the addition of Sky TV to the popular venue.
Kevin Crossley, general manager at the Red Robin, said: “The Red Robin has always been a popular destination for people in Wigan, so we’re pleased to be able to offer a new and improved food offering to our Wigan neighbours.
“The investment has been a real success, with great feedback on the new carvery, and pub menu and family-friendly pub atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming loyal and new guests over the coming months.”
The Red Robin is currently recruiting for bar and kitchen staff. For more details on the jobs available, please contact the Kevin Crossley, general manager at the Red Robin, on 01942 218965.
The Season Ticket loyalty card is also now available at the Red Robin – which allows 10 per cent off selected drinks 1 hour before, during and 1 hour after every live televised Premier League, Championship, FA Cup and Carabao Cup games, as well as other selected sporting events.
